The  stair edging provides a safe, clean edge on stairs and steps, and covers part of the riser to eliminate the appearance of joins on stairs. Secured by screws, this step-edge profile for laminate, parquet and wooden floors must be fixed in place, (directly on floorboards or concrete), before the laminate or wooden floor.The stair nosing comes in an aluminum anodized silver and oak finish. (Installation tip: Start at the bottom, and lay the riser. With the lip of the nosing against the riser, screw the base plate of the nosing down. Cut the tread structure so that it meets the back edge of the nosing and the other riser. (Push the treadboard into the groove, then onto the second step riser.)
